I’ve put down the hammer and paint brush, unpacked some boxes (all of the kitchen stuff!), and got a few good nights of sleep – so I’m ready and very excited to get back to baking and re-open the Bake Shed this week! I’m now in a larger, brighter space with more equipment, so only good things can come from that, right? (I’ll post before/after pics of the house interior soon – promise! – and you won’t believe your eyes.)
School has also started, and my daughter is a freshman this year at BBA. Her in-person schedule has her in school on Wednesdays, so pickup on Wednesdays will be after 9:30am this week, to allow me for time to get her ready and out to school. I’ll have to see how this works this week; further adjustments may come later, so please stay tuned.
Without further ado, below you will find the menu for this week. Please reserve your order early as quantities are limited. There is a limit of two of each item per order, unless otherwise indicated.
For pickup on Wednesday, September 16 (open 9:30am until 6pm, or the cases are empty):

- French Bread (no reserve – available only after 11am)
For pickup on Saturday, September 19 (open 9:00am until 6pm, or the cases are empty):

- Apple Twist Bread
- English Muffins
- Chocolate Chip Muffins
- Mocha Almond Biscotti
- French Bread (self-serve in the case only/no reserve; limited quantity available at the Bake Shed after 11am)
Prices and quantity available are listed on the website. If you don’t see an item listed above pictured on the website ordering page, it has sold out. Reserve your order early as most items sell quickly.
** Please keep in mind that items listed for Wednesday pickup are only available on Wednesday and cannot be held or made for Saturday. If you order something for Wednesday and Saturday pickup, you will have two pickup days. **
Orders will be ready for pickup at the Bake Shed in East Dorset by 9:30am on Wednesday and by 9:00am on Saturday. The Shed closes up around 6:00pm, or after all orders are picked up and extras are sold out (whichever comes first). Payment is due on pick up, cash or check accepted. Envelopes are attached to your order bag listing the total amount due and should be left with payment in the box on the wall.
Do not enter the Bake Shed if you are showing signs of illness or are in quarantine.
Please continue to limit occupancy in the Bake Shed to one customer at a time; keep your distance if you are waiting to enter. I clean the door handles, cases and things that are touchable routinely throughout the pickup day, but please be mindful of others, wear a mask and only touch your labeled order bag/box.
