For pickup at the Bake Shed
on Saturday, May 21:
I apologize for the unexpected closure last week. My daughter tested positive for Covid and it was a little crazy here. The good news is that 1) she never got really sick (no fever, no cough) and her symptoms subsided in a few days and 2) I have tested negative and have no symptoms as has my husband. We followed the CDC guidelines and I cleaned the house thoroughly this weekend, and I’m glad to say she’s back at school and feels normal again and we seem to have avoided infection. (Vaccines work! My antibodies were tested a couple weeks ago at Dartmouth – I am convinced that’s how I avoided it.)
I’ll continue to follow the guidelines on testing and mask wearing in the kitchen, and update you if anything changes. Here’s what I’ll have on the Bake Shed shelves this Saturday:
- English Muffins
- Everything Challah Rolls
- Country Sourdough
- Apple Sourdough
- Rosemary & Sea Salt Focaccia
- Strawberry Crumb Bars
- Maple Cinnamon Muffins
- French Bread Baguettes (self-serve only – no orders, available at the Bake Shed on pickup day)
and - Reusable Online Order Bags are back in stock – add a set to your order to participate in the bag exchange program!
Please make sure you get an order confirmation via email by noon the day after you place your order. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact me as soon as possible to confirm your order was received.
Orders will be ready for pickup at the Bake Shed in East Dorset on Saturday starting at 9am and the shed will close at 6pm. Payment is due at pick up; cash or check accepted. Envelopes are attached to your order bag listing the total amount due and should be left with payment in the box on the wall.
Do not enter the Bake Shed if you are showing signs of illness or are in quarantine. While inside the Bake Shed, masks are strongly recommended for all – and are required for unvaccinated visitors. Please continue to limit occupancy in the Bake Shed to one customer (or small family unit) at a time.
