I’ve been watching the forecast for this Saturday – significant snow is possible – and I’ve made the decision to not open the Bake Shed this weekend. The models are split in terms of how much snow will fall and when, so it could be 2” or 2’ from Friday until Sunday. The path won’t be clear until much closer to Saturday, so I think it’s best to play it safe and postpone the menu I planned for this week until next. And if you were able to sneak a peek on Monday, you know there is Apple Cinnamon Babka in my plan!
I’ll use my extra time this week to plan for my Valentine’s Day menu – nothing says “I love you” like heart-shaped crumb cake and chocolate cherry sourdough bread! 😉
